About the Role

The Head of People Operations is responsible for building, scaling, and leading the company’s people function from foundational HR practices to a fully strategic business partner. This role will establish compliant, scalable systems across HR, talent, and culture while aligning people strategy with overall business objectives.

This leader will oversee the full employee lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to performance, development, and retention while driving a high-performance, values-driven culture.

Requirements


  • Demonstrated experience in HR, People Operations, or leadership roles


  • Strong understanding of core HR functions (hiring, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, or performance management)


  • Demonstrated ability to build, improve, and scale processes that drive operational efficiency


  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism


  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting the development of others


  • Track record of taking ownership and driving outcomes with minimal oversight


  • Experience with HR systems, payroll, or people data (HRIS platforms preferred)


  • Exposure to or involvement in:

    • Recruiting or workforce planning

    • Employee engagement or culture initiatives

    • Policy development or compliance practices

    • Compensation, benefits, or performance processes
